Do the work. Trust each other. Earn your future – Welcome to Millers
Pitch 2 Pitch was created by C J Woodrow in 2004 as a way to give back and provide opportunities for the next generation. Having played in the national championships at age 9 combined with playing for the Gophers and then Phillies and Royals, he experienced seeing what hard work and a desire to compete every day can do. This led him to create P2P for player development and Millers to compete for players.
Why the name Millers? Minnesota’s minor league team was the Minneapolis Millers for the Giants with Willie Mays. Minnesota’s townball team was the Minnetonka Millers. Therefore, Minnesota’s club team is the P2P Millers.
The P2P Millers program is a nationally ranked and recognized organization that competes at the highest levels and produces college and pro players. With 50+ players going on to play in college annually, you will play in college if you graduate the Millers program but it takes work. Everything revolves around a daily commitment of every player and coach to do the work, trust each other and have fun playing ball as we know what it takes to get to the highest levels (because we’ve been there) and want each player to realize their potential. Nothing is given, everything is earned and that is why we are the Millers.
